Another One
Alex watched yet another golf ball land in his backyard through his window. Once again, it was almost in the window. Picking up balls all the time was becoming tiresome for him.
There wasn't a care in the world for his neighbor. As long as he hit the golf balls, he didn't care where they ended up. There was, however, a plan Alex had in mind.
He’s Had Enough
Alex was fed up with his neighbor taking a lot of liberties. “I'm really getting tired of this guy," said Alex.
He would no longer allow the neighbor to do this. He needed to devise a plan. His neighbor was nearby, so he marched over. What would be the effect of his confrontation?
Nobody Liked Him
With his wife Candice and three children, Alex Briggs lived in a friendly neighborhood in Tampa, Florida. Everybody waved and greeted each other in this typical neighborhood.
One neighbor, however, was never really liked by all. It was David Adams, Alex's next-door neighbor.
Materialistic
David has always been a bit of a showoff since he moved next door to the Briggs household. Because he was a vice president in a large financial company, he drove a fancy sports car.
At first, Alex didn't mind when he approached him to talk. Alex wanted to escape when everything revolved around him and his love of luxury items.
They Had Enough
Alex was unable to relate. Although he did well for himself, he and Candice lived in a modest three-bedroom house and did not lead an extravagant life. David boasted about luxury items almost every day, but they couldn't afford them.
Candice worked at a local bank as a clerk, while Alex worked as a construction foreman.
A Different Visitor Weekly
As a bachelor, David had an assortment of women over every weekend. His house was filled with raucous parties most weekends, and Alex often had to ask him to turn it down.

A sigh escaped Alex's lips. “Hey, David. It’s nearly noon, so I wouldn’t say it’s early.” David looked at his watch.
Speaking His Mind
With a chuckle, he said, "I must have overslept.". His nonchalant attitude annoyed Alex. He was about to express his feelings to him.
“Your raucous parties have been causing my family sleepless nights for weeks now. This can't continue. I will have to involve the authorities if you are not considerate.”
Smug
All David did was just laugh. “You want to call the cops on me? Go ahead. I know all of them, they are my buddies,” David replied smugly.
Alex decided to walk away before he said something that he would regret. David slammed the door, and Alex knew that their problems were far from over.
No Signs Of Slowing Down
As days turned into weeks, Alex's frustration continued to mount. David's parties showed no signs of slowing down, and if anything, they seemed to get louder and more raucous with each passing weekend.
