Man Discovers He's Infertile and Not the Father of His Three Sons

Stunned

Andrew Hawk was stunned when the doctor revealed the painful truth. For two decades, he had dedicated everything to his marriage, only to discover his wife’s deep betrayal. All the pieces fell into place, and the lies she’d told him became painfully clear.

As the weight of the revelation hit him, Andrew stood up, his chair scraping the floor. A wave of anger surged through him, and he knew exactly what he had to do to make her pay for the years of deception.

Any Other Day

It seemed like any other day. When the doctor called and asked him to come in, he thought nothing of it. The plan was simple—squeeze in a quick visit during lunch to pick up his results.

He anticipated being back in the office in 15 minutes. However, he had no clue that the doctor had something important to discuss with him. What was meant to be a brief errand quickly turned into an unexpected and urgent conversation.

Left The Office

Andrew left the office shortly after 12 p.m., casually informing his colleagues that he’d be back in about twenty minutes. He expected to return to work soon, but things didn’t go as planned.

The drive to the doctor's office was uneventful, and before long, he arrived at the large building. However, the visit would turn out to be more than just a routine check-up. His doctor had discovered something troubling, and Andrew wouldn’t be returning to the office for the next few days.

Greeted The Receptionist

"Hello," Andrew greeted the receptionist with a friendly smile. "I'm Andrew Hawk. Doctor Evans mentioned I could pick up my results." To his surprise, the receptionist declined his request. "I'm sorry, Mr. Hawk, but the doctor would like to see you personally," she replied.

Confused, Andrew was directed to sit in the waiting room. As he waited, an uneasy feeling began to settle in, leaving him with a growing sense of dread.

Began To Gnaw

Anxiety began to gnaw at him as he sat there, wondering what the tests might have uncovered. The possibility of a serious illness or disease weighed heavily on his mind, and the fear of the unknown grew unbearable. His hands were clammy, his heart racing with each passing second.

He sat in silence, lost in his thoughts, for what felt like an eternity. Then, at last, the receptionist’s voice broke through his worries. "The doctor will see you now." The words sent a shiver down his spine as he stood, preparing to face whatever awaited him.

Walking Down The Hallway

Andrew felt a lump in his throat as he rose from his seat and walked down the familiar hallway toward the doctor's office. Each step felt heavier than the last, his mind racing with dread.

Upon entering the room, he saw the concern in the doctor's eyes. "It's cancer, isn't it?" he blurted, fear gripping his chest. The doctor remained calm, gesturing for him to sit. "It's not cancer," he replied, his tone serious, "but there's something important we need to discuss."

Fixed

Andrew sat in silence, his eyes fixed on the doctor as the man sifted through the papers in his folder. A sinking feeling settled in his chest; something wasn’t right.

Finally, the doctor placed a sheet in front of him, peering over the top of his glasses. “The tests came back with some results I think you need to know,” he said. What followed next would uncover a secret his wife had hidden from him for the past eighteen years.

Spent His Entire Life

Andrew Hawk spent his entire life in Seattle, Washington, where he met his wife, Abigail. Together, they raised their three sons, Michael, Dylan, and Joseph, creating a life full of love and memories.

From the moment Abigail unexpectedly became pregnant with their first child, Andrew knew his purpose was to be a devoted husband and father. He poured his heart into providing for his family, determined to give them everything they needed. However, despite his best efforts, he never imagined that their world would one day unravel.

Unbreakable Bond

Andrew and Abigail shared an unbreakable bond, with him confiding in her about everything. As the years went on, she grew closer to his family, forming deep connections with his parents and gaining their affection. His older brother, Dale, often remarked on how perfect Abigail was for Andrew.

For two decades, Andrew considered himself incredibly fortunate. While he focused on his work, Abigail devoted herself to raising their three sons. Over time, he watched with pride as his boys blossomed into remarkable young men, a testament to the love and care Abigail had poured into their upbringing.

Eldest Son

Before Andrew realized it, he found himself in his mid-forties, with his eldest son, Michael, now eighteen, and his youngest, Joseph, at fifteen.

This period marked a devastating time for the Hawk family, as Abigail experienced the painful loss of her father after a prolonged fight with cancer. His death from prostate cancer left a lasting impact on her, bringing a deep fear that history might repeat itself.

Assuring Her

She opened up to her husband about it one evening. “We’re getting older. I think it’s best if we start taking our health a little more seriously before something bad happens,” Abigail explained. Andrew couldn’t agree more. Over the years, he’d begun feeling all kinds of signs of aging. “Then that’s what we’ll do,” He assured his wife.

But one casual day, she made a suggestion that would change their lives forever. If she had known, she would’ve kept quiet.

Doctor’s Appointments

“I scheduled appointments for us with Dr. Evans and Dr. Craig. I think it’s important that we go for regular check-ups. After all, it's been a while,” Abigail said. At the time, Andrew was happy to make the effort if it put her mind at ease. “When are our appointments?” He asked with a reassuring smile.

Lately, he could tell that the death of her father had caused some type of health anxiety. All he wanted was to put her mind at ease.

He Was Wrong

Their appointments were scheduled on separate days that week. Andrew had an appointment with Dr. Evans on a Thursday. The day of his appointment started just fine. Andrew asked for the morning off and headed for the doctor’s office.

As he waited in the waiting room, he was looking forward to getting it over with. He was sure that everything was fine. But he was wrong.

His Appointment

It took some time, but eventually, Andrew was called into Dr. Evans’s office. He sat in front of the older man with a polite smile. “Hello, Mr. Hawk,” Dr. Evans said. “What can I help you with today?” He asked and reached for Andrew’s file on his desk.

“My wife scheduled me for a check-up. Her father recently passed away from prostate cancer, and she’s feeling a little anxious about it,” He shrugged.

Small Talk

Before Andrew knew it, he was sitting in front of the doctor while he measured his blood pressure, engaging in small talk. “So, how is your family taking it? The passing of your wife’s father?” The doctor asked casually, fidgeting with his gadgets.

“My wife is taking it the worst. Our three sons are doing better now. They didn’t take it well at first,” Andrew answered. But soon, his life would take a sudden turn.

Testing

That day, the doctor did all kinds of tests on Andrew. Andrew was there for hours, and by the end of it, he was exhausted. “We will send all of these samples off for testing. It should take about a week or two. But I’ll give you a call once you can pick up your results,” The doctor said.

Andrew thanked the older man before leaving his office. He was glad that it was finally over, but he had no idea what was coming.

Family Time

The days passed quickly, and Andrew had just about forgotten all about his visit to the doctor’s office. That weekend, the family enjoyed a barbecue with Andrew’s side of the family. His mother, father, and older brother, Dale, were all there.

While Andrew barbecued with his mother and father, Abigail and Dale prepared side dishes in the kitchen. Andrew was grateful that Abigail got along with his brother.

They Were Close

They had always been close, and Dale never failed to tell Andrew how lucky he was to have a wife like Abigail. “I could only dream of someday having someone as wonderful by my side,” His single brother said.

Andrew appreciated his brother’s support of their relationship. He never thought anything of it until one day.

The Call

The morning Andrew received a call from the doctor’s office, he was at work, finishing up a project he had been working on for weeks. “Hello?” He said, casually answering the phone. But when he heard the doctor’s voice, he suddenly remembered the tests he had forgotten all about.

“Good morning, Mr. Hawk. I’m calling to let you know that we have your results. Would you be able to pick them up at some point today?” The older man asked.

His Lunch Break

Andrew was happy to grab them during his lunch break. He told the doctor he would be there just after 12 p.m. His morning passed without a hitch. It was just another casual day, but he had no idea what awaited him.

By the end of that day, his life would change in a way he never saw coming. He was hours away from making a terrible discovery.

Fetching The Results

When 12 p.m. arrived, he left the office, telling his colleagues he would be back in twenty minutes at most. But he was wrong. The drive to the doctor’s office passed without any hiccups, and before he knew it, he was inside the large building.

“Hi there,” he greeted the receptionist with a bright smile. It’s Andrew Hawk. Doctor Evans said I could grab my results.” But he did not expect the receptionist’s response.

Take A Seat

He wanted to grab his results and head straight back to the office, but the receptionist wouldn’t give them to him. “Actually, Mr. Hawk, the doctor would like to see you himself,” she said. At that moment, he instantly knew something was wrong.

He sat in the waiting room, his heart racing. But a few minutes later, his name was finally called. He had no idea what was coming.

The Doctor’s Office

Andrew swallowed loudly as he got up from his seat, walked down the familiar hall, and headed toward his doctor’s office. When he stepped inside, he noticed the worried look on the doctor’s face. “Oh no, it’s cancer, isn’t it?” He said aloud, scared for his life.

But the doctor didn’t react. He simply told Andrew to take a seat. “It’s not cancer, but there is something I need to tell you.”

A Secret

Andrew sat down quietly and watched the doctor dig through his folder. He knew that something was terribly wrong. The doctor placed a sheet of paper down in front of Andrew and stared at him over the brim of his glasses.

“Sir, the tests revealed something that I thought you should know,” The doctor started. But what he said next revealed a secret that Andrew’s wife had kept for eighteen years.

A Question

Andrew sat quietly and waited for the doctor to explain the problem, but he did not expect what the doctor said next. “You said you had three sons with your wife. Is this correct?” The doctor asked. Andrew was immediately caught off guard.

He frowned, “Yes. We have three sons together. What do they have to do with my results?” He asked, confused.

Infertile

The doctor rubbed a hand across his forehead and placed the papers down in front of Andrew. But what did the papers say? “According to the tests, Mr. Hawk, you are infertile,” The doctor said. But Andrew didn’t see the problem with that yet.

“Oh, that’s okay. We don’t plan on having any more children. I assume it’s something that just happens with age, right?” He asked, but then, the doctor said something terrible.

The Results

“Mr. Hawk, this has nothing to do with aging. You have never been fertile. It is impossible for you to be the father of those three boys,” The doctor said. But Andrew couldn’t believe it. He sat frozen for a while, staring at the doctor as he tried to process what he’d said.

“No,” he finally said, “That can’t be possible. My children look just like me. They have my genes.”

A Terrible Feeling

Dr. Evans felt awful as he watched the man battle a million thoughts a second. He shook his head, feeling terrible that he had to say this. “Is it possible that someone else in your family could be the father? It is impossible for you to be their biological father, Mr. Hawk,” He said.

Andrew felt like he was going to be sick. He sat for a second longer, got up, and grabbed his results. He left the office without another word.

The Truth

Andrew drove straight home, his heart pounding in his chest. When he burst through the front door, his face red with anger, Abigail frowned. “What’s going on, honey?” She asked, confused. He placed the paper down before her. Suddenly, he realized why his brother was so fond of her.

“Tell me who the father is because it’s definitely not me,” He said. She glanced at the results, his face turning pale.

Revenge

That day, Abigail admitted to everything. Dale had been the father of their children all along, but Andrew got his revenge. As the breadwinner of their household, he filed for divorce and took everything, which meant that she had to find work in order to survive.

Andrew remained close to the kids, but he swore to never speak to Abigail ever again. Eventually, he moved on. But she lost everything, including a man who loved her dearly.
