These Are The Best Burgers Around The Globe

Burgers are an all-time fan favorite around the globe. According to legend, a German immigrant in Texas sandwiched a hamburger steak between two buns, and just like that, a culinary icon was born. Here are some of the best places in the world to grab yourself a burger.

The Bird, Berlin, Germany

The Bird is undoubtedly Berlin’s most popular burger joint, and for good reason. But these burgers are not for the faint of heart, with their huge patties and unusual buns. The beef is superb, and the potatoes are a crispy sensation!

Burger & Co, Taipei, Taiwan

Burger & Co is a modest burger place in Taipei’s Da’an neighborhood. They mainly serve single or double cheeseburgers with optional bacon, jalapenos, or fried eggs. The meat is freshly ground, the buns are custom-made, and they make their own fries.

Belgrade, Serbia

You’re missing out if you haven’t tried Pljeskavica yet. A juicy, oniony burger is put within a heated lepinje (Serbian pita) and topped with cheese, garlic sauce, cabbage, or bacon to make Serbia’s twist on the American staple. These burgers are best eaten at one of Belgrade’s many 24-hour kiosks; try Loki, which has been a late-night favorite in the nightlife district since the 1990s.

Fire House, Tokyo, Japan

The Fire House in Tokyo’s Bunkyo neighborhood has been serving high-quality burgers since 1996. Their traditional bacon cheeseburger comes in a huge, fluffy bun with a lovely, pink center.

In-n-Out Burger, USA

In-N-Out Burger is a legendary Californian burger joint that first opened its doors in the '40s. The menu has remained pretty basic and its ingredients consist of fresh meat, vegetables, and buns.

Handsome Burger, Galway, Ireland

Handsome Burger began as a modest street food seller in Galway and has since grown to include Dublin. They were named “The Best Burger” in Ireland in the summer of 2019.
